BORA BORA HERE WE COME!!

My sister Lori and I have committed to take our kids on a family trip to Bora Bora. The white sand, and over the water bungalows have been calling to us for years. After the 20 day cruise to Hawaii with the kids, we decided that we needed to do more of these dream vacations with the kids. So it is still in the planning stages but we are planning our trip wooo hooo...

if by the cruise to hawaii with the kids you mean the cruise to hawaii with 3 of your 4 kids, then yes, im sure it was fun.

IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME...

So yes I have ignored my blog for a year. I guess I assume nobody is even reading it so why bother? I decided to do a quick recap and just sort of ramble... I have a new job. It is great. I am working as a Legal Assistant at a law firm in Logan. I work with the nicest people and have learned a lot. I still have a lot to learn but I am sure it will all pull together in time. I moved. I left my 5 bedroom home and downsized to a townhouse. It is really pretty and very upgraded and I am loving the big bathtub and fireplace. I have a nice little grass yard where I have my patio table and we eat outside often. Oliver likes the yard as well and he has more freedom since it is fenced in. Cassidy moved out and into a town-home in the same development. She is living with friends and working in a salon doing hair. I am so proud of her. She has sure grown up this past year. UPDATE OF LIFE

so I have been meaning to update but just have not gotten to it. Life just happens... Scott and Jen are all settled into married life in Eugene. I miss them stopping by and watching TV on my bed. I am so proud of them though and think that life is going to be a wonderful journey for them. I love Jen like she is one of my own. It is strange how quickly that happened. She is a great girl and I am thrilled Scott has her in his life. Taylor is busy with school and life with Josh. They are so compatible. They have zero drama, never fight and just have such respect for each other. I am glad to see that for her. It is hard to find. Cassidy is dating all of Logan haha JK ....but not really. Her social life is great and she seems so happy. She started cosmetology school. She is doing really well. She even had me come in for a facial last week, and she cut Brady's hair. He even let her give him a shave with a straight edge razor. She also got a new SUV which she is loving. She wrecks this on...

THEY GROW UP...AND KEEP LEAVING!

So I feel sad today. My second oldest, Taylor 19 left today...again. She left last summer to attend college in Utah. It took me a few weeks to get past being sad. Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled for her! I was sad for me. So all year I knew she would spend the summer at home with us and I would have her back, for a while at least. Well, being the amazing person that she is, an AMAZING camp called Gold Arrow ( I attended as a child and so did my kids) has hired her to be their rock climbing instructor. It is a wonderful opportunity for her and I know she loves the smell of the trees, campfires and she adores little kids. She will be in heaven. I on the other hand will miss her like crazy. Why cant they just stay little? I have tried to talk them into this but they just do not seem to agree. I still have the other 3 at home, for now. Until Scott leaves again...this is his LAST summer home before law school and the life of a big boy...ugg do not even get me started on that. I love ...
