MONTANA...I THINK YES!

So after spending some time in Helena last week, I think we have decided to move to Helena Montana. I have gotten where I just do not enjoy living in Vegas. There are MANY people here that used to be in my life, or the lives of my children who are now ruining life for us. It is a shame that a group of people can strip away so much from a family by their actions. They go to sleep at night never even thinking of the things their actions and their words have done.








So...with that being said, we have decided to move. We found an amazing home and the people there are so frienddly. There is nothing in Vegas for us anymore. Both of my parents have died, my marriage is no longer and the above mentioned situation have made it easy to go. I am hopeful my sister will move as well in time but for now, I am putting my life and the life of cassidy and Brady first. The HOPE is to be gone by December 1st. Wish us luck :)

I'm sorry that living in Vegas is no longer enjoyable for you :( . but you are completely right in putting your children first.. i would do the same. Anyway, with that said, i am maybe a little bit jealous that you are moving to montana... we drive through every year to go to canada and i always say the same things... "it's so beautiful!! Everyone is so friendly!" The exact things you have said! So good luck! Montana is pretty awesome!

It looks absolutely gorgeous! I am so happy you found a place where you guys can go and not have to worry about running in to people who have tried to ruin your life and the lives of your children. I hope one day those people will realize their actions were not Christlike and that they will learn how to treat others the way they want to be treated. I love you guys!

Missing people and the feelings that childhood brings

 It is always so surprising to me that a simple song can come on Spotify and I feel so many feelings. Rocky Mountain High by John Denver came on and I instantly thought of my aunt Marie ( AKA Re-Re). She was my mom's little sister and I spent a lot of time with her growing up. I miss her. I miss her under 5 foot frame and her over 6 foot tall personality.  I hear Hotel California and I think of my sister Lisa. She is the second of the 4 sisters. I am the 4th. Lisa and I have never been really close. I have so many memories of her music though. Elton John                 ( especially Rocket Man), James Taylor, The Eagles etc. I remember her smelling like Blue Grass perfume and her pale blue Honda Civic. I remember going to a Libertarian rally with her when I was probably 9 years old.  She seemed so sophisticated and worldly to me at the time.I thought she was so cool. She loved Burt Reynolds. IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME...

So yes I have ignored my blog for a year. I guess I assume nobody is even reading it so why bother? I decided to do a quick recap and just sort of ramble... I have a new job. It is great. I am working as a Legal Assistant at a law firm in Logan. I work with the nicest people and have learned a lot. I still have a lot to learn but I am sure it will all pull together in time. I moved. I left my 5 bedroom home and downsized to a townhouse. It is really pretty and very upgraded and I am loving the big bathtub and fireplace. I have a nice little grass yard where I have my patio table and we eat outside often. Oliver likes the yard as well and he has more freedom since it is fenced in. Cassidy moved out and into a town-home in the same development. She is living with friends and working in a salon doing hair. I am so proud of her. She has sure grown up this past year.
