23 YEARS

Today would have been my 23 wedding anniversary. This is my first one since the divorce. Very strange. Very sad. I will always love Chad, I guess the old saying is true ...sometimes Love just is not enough.

Life changes and stays the same

   I fell in love..again. This past Summer, I reconnected with someone from my past. He was the last person I dated before dating my ex-husband. I will call him P. It started out as a friendship and then it became more. I tried to tell myself that I was not "all in" but I was. Once P said "I love you" to me, I realized I too was in love. Damn it, how did that happen?  We had everything in common that two people can have in common. We could read each other's minds, finish each other's thoughts and we could not have been any more perfect for one-another. Along with the wonderful parts of love came red flags. IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME...

So yes I have ignored my blog for a year. I guess I assume nobody is even reading it so why bother? I decided to do a quick recap and just sort of ramble... I have a new job. It is great. I am working as a Legal Assistant at a law firm in Logan. I work with the nicest people and have learned a lot. I still have a lot to learn but I am sure it will all pull together in time. I moved. I left my 5 bedroom home and downsized to a townhouse. It is really pretty and very upgraded and I am loving the big bathtub and fireplace. I have a nice little grass yard where I have my patio table and we eat outside often. Oliver likes the yard as well and he has more freedom since it is fenced in. Cassidy moved out and into a town-home in the same development. She is living with friends and working in a salon doing hair. I am so proud of her. She has sure grown up this past year.
